Leak Detection, Drone inspections, Wall Scanning Radar and Thermal Imaging

Leak Detection

Bruce from Handy Work Building Diagnostics has been finding and repairing leaks succesfully for decades but after investing in his latest Thermal Imaging System, he says repeatedly “how the hell did I find leaks before this.” You see once trained in what to look for the right Thermal Camera picks up so much the naked eye cannot. “You find cold and often wet areas at a glance from a distance, once trained in what to look for, then I just walk up to the suspect area and confirm it with my moisture meter”. I hate to think what I might have missed before I had this gear.

 Wall Scanning

Using both Radar D-Tect wall scanners or Specialised Thermal Cameras for water gas or drainage pipes, electrical cables or utilities, before drilling, screwing, cutting or demolishing.

Drone Inspections

Roof and inspections at height are difficult and dangerous and because of this and the safety harnessing required at height, it is slow and expensive and things might be missed while ensuring the person inspecting guards against falls. Drone inspections are quick, thorough and safe and can see things from angles not possible by climing onto roofs. High resolution pictures and video can be examined quickly and safely to find problem areas potential roof leas or maintenance needs.

Thermal Imaging

Is an invaluable system when you have the right gear and training. It can help find water leaks, wall and ceiling insulation deficiencies, poor window and door seals, Air Conditioning or Heating system problems, and finding Electrical switchboard issues, minimising fire risks or electrical breakdowns. Thermal Cameras can even help find hidden studs and ceiling joists. It sees things human eyes cannot.
