Hi Bruce, I’ve been meaning to thank you for all the good work you have done here over the past few weeks I know that Jill has already done so. Thank you...and it was enjoyable talking with you too.

Your drainpipe and screen door water proofing passed last night’s downpour with flying colours. Not a drop on our tile floor inside. Great.

Install Flat Pack Cubby House - Seaforth

The clients had a fairly large townhouse on the Northern Beaches, however with two children and a Nanny, there was not nearly enough room for the kids needs.  They purchased a so called flat pack cubby house (so called because it required lots of cutting of timbers) and Handy Work put it together (constructed it) so the kids had a place for their toys and where they could have outdoor sleep overs with friends.

Fit Childproof Plastic Ring Mesh at edge of stairwell - Beacon Hill

The client bought the open plan house before kids and discovered there was a real risk their young daughter could fall over the edge of the lounge and topple down to the heavy wooden stairs a storey below.  Not wanting to loose the open feel and look of the room, the discovered a Childproof Plastic Ring Mesh manufactured in New Zealand and had it shipped to Sydney.

Handy Work was commissioned to make a special wedge shaped timber header beam to attach the mesh to then to fit and tension it appropriately.
