ENQUIRIES:

  • Enquiries are welcomed. We will respond as soon as we can (usually within 48 hours). If it is urgent, best to phone Bruce.

INSPECTION & REPORT BOOKINGS: (Please read below carefully)

  • If you select “Book-In” an Inspection &/or a Report, this is a specific request by you to actually confirm a Booking for an inspection job to be done by Handy Work Building Diagnostics.

  • Actual Bookings will be entered into our Work Calendar and a confirmation email will be sent to you, (typically within 2 working days).

  • If you have specific questions phone Bruce at any time.

  • An Inspection only is the cheaper option and will include a verbal report face to face or by phone, where practical or in some cases an image will be sent to you.

  • If you want a simple report or email with photos, the report option carries a fee related to the work involved. In depth reports take longer and therefore the fee is higher to cover the additional time.

  • If you want a video created by the Thermal Camera, the Drone or images from the Wall Scanner, this carries a slightly higher fee to cover recovery of the media, preparation or editing of the media and transmission to you.

  • Some larger jobs include a basic inspection fee and an hourly rate.

  • When your Inspection comes up to be done, we will contact you by phone or text to finalise a mutually suitable commencement day & time to carry out the inspection.

  • Lead times before commencing your inspection varies, depending on how many clients got in ahead of you. “Good people are busy”. Get in early to avoid dissapointment. The confirmation email for your booking will estimate a likely commencement time or phone Bruce prior to booking to ask what the current lead-time might be.

  • Once the Inspection is complete, an invoice is sent by email.

  • Invoices are payable immediately upon receipt of that invoice.

We are unable to cover areas south of the harbour or west of the North Shore. “Good people are busy” and we do not have the time to work outside these areas. Sorry. “Good people are busy” consequently we do not have enough time to expand our business any further.
